Directions to the Royal Sonesta Hotel from the I-10 East
- Traveling from the Airport on I-10 East follow the signs to the New Orleans Business District and continue to follow 1-10 East toward Slidell.
- The Hotel may be reached from I-10 East by exiting on the Orleans Avenue/Vieux Carre exit.
- Orleans Avenue becomes Basin Street as it curves toward the French Quarter.
- Make a left turn from Basin Street onto Conti Street.

Entrance to Events
Your name badge must be shown for entrance to all conference sessions due to the many offsite venues and special events. Your badge can be picked up at the Summit Registration area in the Royal Sonesta, 300 Bourbon Street, in the French Quarter beginning Thursday, October 29 from 1:00PM to 9:00PM and on Friday, October 31 beginning at 7:30AM.
Volunteer
Cultural Economy Summit is pleased to offer a limited number of reduced rate conference registration fees for Cultural Economy Stakeholders who volunteer to work 4 hours during the conference. Volunteer duties primarily include assisting with the registration desk, directing guests during special events, and providing assistance at the breakout locations and lunch locations. The reduced rate for volunteering is $15 for the conference. Volunteers will be given their assignments prior to arrival but Cultural Economy Summit reserves the right to change or make new assignments as needed.

The Louisiana Cultural Economy Foundation offers scholarships to any member of the cultural economy workforce in Louisiana to assist in costs with attending the Louisiana Cultural Economy Summit. Each scholarship includes free registration to the Summit and $200 toward lodging and travel expenses for the two-day conference. Scholarships are open to all artists, employees, managing volunteers or board members, or any nonprofit or commercial business in the visual arts and crafts, music, theatre, dance, literary and publishing, design, historic preservation, archaeology and cultural resource management, film and interactive digital media, culinary, and/or other cultural institution.
